Holidays at the Kreischberg!

This detached solid wood chalet is only about 100 meters from the Kreischberg valley station. The house offers 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a large open plan living, kitchen and dining area. It is fully and comfortably equipped. The region offers many excursion destinations within the Murau region (10 minutes away) and is a paradise for hikers, cyclists and leisurely family holidays.

Moving around the Accommodation CalaMur

In winter, the skiing area "Kreischberg" beckons. The valley station is only about 100m away from Chalet CalaMur and is usually open from the beginning of December until Easter Monday. There is also a lockable locker at the chalet to keep your skis or snowboard safe. How about a round of golf in summer? The generously planned 18-hole, par 72 golf course of the Golfclub Murau_Kreischberg is only two kilometres away from Chalet CalaMur in the direction of Murau. The challenging golf course is embedded in the forests of the Nockberge mountains on one side and is bordered by the natural course of the Mur river on the other. Particularly noteworthy are the elevated tees at the beginning of the round and the spectacular half and island greens.

Equipment highlights of the CalaMur holiday chalet

New: If you arrive with your e-car you can use the new charging station. It is equipped with a Type-2 plug and has a maximum charging capacity of 11kW AC.

The detached luxury wooden ­chalet was built in the summer of 2014 at the foot of the Kreischberg with great attention to detail. Always mindful of the well-being and satisfaction of our guests, we offer you 70m² for a maximum of 5 people relaxation, comfort and cosiness.

The living and dining room with the open kitchen harmonizes modern and alpine living style. The extraordinary lighting concept with the many windows and the unusual lamps as well as the cozy indirect light increases the feel-good factor even on dark days. The gas oven, which is open on three sides, invites you to relax after a long hike or a day on the ski slopes. Modern equipment in the living room ensures a special television experience with an outstanding sound experience via Bluetooth and WLAN. From the living room you have direct access to the spacious terrace with seating, sun loungers, a gas grill and the garden. The bathroom is equipped with a whirlpool, a sensory shower and an infrared cabin. In this way, wellness fans will also get their money's worth. From the living room and the two bedrooms on the upper floor you have a wonderful view of the mountains and of course the ski slope.

Entrance area:

In the anteroom there is a massive bench on which hikers can comfortably take off their shoes and for the winter season skiers can hang their ski boots on the heated ski boot dryer. In addition, the entrance area has two cloakrooms, which offer enough space for ski suits and jackets. There is also a washing machine in the anteroom, with which it is possible to quickly and easily turn dirty laundry into clean laundry within 20 minutes.</ p>

The kitchen has been fitted with custom LED lighting above the stove, under the worktop and under the wall cabinet. All lighting can be switched individually.

The television with additional soundbar makes television a special television experience. It is also possible to connect smartphones or similar devices to the soundbar via Bluetooth.

If you lie relaxed on the couch, you have a breathtaking view of the ski slope.

Dining area:

On the custom-made corner seat - equipped with cuddly, cozy sheepskins - you can let the beautiful surroundings work on you. The gas fireplace, which is open on three sides, gives the rooms a pleasant warmth. A high-quality children's chair from Tripp Trapp is available for the little ones!

From now on, two trekking bikes are available for the duration of your stay (men's bike size 54 and women's bike size 51) as well as a 24 inch children's mountain bike free available (only from April to October).

For practical storage of skis, ski poles and snowboards.

Bedroom:

• bright and friendly triple room (1 x 1.40 m + 1 x 0.80 m)
• Cosy double room (2 x 0.80 m) with  32 inch LED TV with built-in DVB-S receiver  
• All beds are equipped with high-quality pocket spring mattresses
• For our youngest guests, a cot with a "Hauck" mattress is available free of charge
• Both rooms offer a wonderful view of the mountains and the ski slope

*The weather station calculates a weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours from the air pressure over the past hours/days. The accuracy that can be achieved with this technique is around 70%. The actual weather the next day can therefore be completely different. This is especially true in mountainous or high mountain areas. Therefore, do not rely on the weather station's weather forecast, but inform yourself on site, e.g. B. want to go on a mountain hike.
